I attended a meeting organized by the Hungarian Olympic Academy, representing Kolonics György Primary School and Public Education Sports School as Head of the Physical Education Department.
The event brought together institutions participating in the Olympic education program to share their experiences, initiatives and plans. I presented our school’s sports activities, our advanced physical education classes, partnerships with local sports clubs, as well as our work in teaching Olympic studies and organizing our annual Olympic Day.
I particularly value initiatives where sport becomes more than physical activity – where it also serves as a way to build community, pass on values and introduce young people to the culture and spirit of the Olympic movement.
